The views from the back balcony are of undulating lush green countryside, with absolute creek frontage. There is a natural flowwing creek for swimming and even has a small natural waterfall featureJ just perfect for cooling off on those balmy summer days.
Platypus Falls is the perfect choice for travellers and large family groups that need a special home base for their holiday, after a day of exploring the Tablelands. Aproximately 1 - 2 hours drive north of Cairns, depending on which route you take.
Via the Gillies Highway - 76.5km - 1 hour 24 minutes
Via the Kennedy Highway - 114km - 1 hour 58 minutes
