Only a 3 minute walk to the beach, esplanade, restaurants and bars. The esplanade has many shops and tour offices where trips to nearby Port Douglas / Mossman Gorge / Daintree and Cape Tribulation can be arranged.

Catamaran trips to the Great Barrier Reef leave from the jetty which is 10 minutes walk from Jambala Beach House. The property is close (5km) to the Paradise Palms golf course at Kewarra Beach.

Jambala Beach House is close to the convenience store, bottle shop and tavern (4 minutes walk). Local buses and taxis are readily available from the esplanade with regular services to Cairns and other beach resorts.
